Dang its been a long time since I updated this thing. Id almost forgot I had and LJ. I just wanted everyone to know that I was still alive :) Im working now and it takes up a good deal of my time (atleast when Im actually scheduled to work...lol) but I really like it and im making much needed $. Anyways, Id better go, its 3:42 in the morning and I need some sleep. Night!

Update and pictures

Hey all, I've got a couple things I wanna add here.
First an update on yesterday's entry:
I talked to my dr today and she said she thinks that I may be one of those people that needs to stay on the anti-depress while im on this new med. Basically, Im gonna start taking BOTH for a while and see if maybe I need a longer period of time to stop taking the anti-depressant. Im going in to see her in a week from today, so that will be helpful.

Second: pictures!! YAY! :) These are from when the boys were on the Today on June 10th. I just HAD to put a couple of these here.

The Deal

OK, I decided to just post this here instead of sending 50 million emails with the same message in it. This is gonna be really long so bear with me.

I have a had a really bad past week. I recently changed my medicine and needless to say it was a mistake. basically, I stopped taking my anti-depressant in place of something else that was supposed to help me gain weight back. Now, back tracking a little, the medicine i was taking for the ADD stuff was causing me to loose my appitite therefore causing me to continue to loose weight. At one point I weighed just 94 lbs. which is not good at all. My clothes were huge on me (shorts and pants esp), and are still big on me. So, in order to help me gain some weight back, my dr took me off the ADD med. and gave me something to take the place of that, my anti-depressant and the pills I was taking to help me sleep. SO, after I started that my mood went WAY down. I started feeling really bad, usually my stomach was bothering me, I had a headache, hot flashes, and was not a happy person. So, this past week (the 13th-17th) it got worse. I had my period and it was worse than it normally is (and most of you know how awful my periods used to be), so I wasn't happy. I was VERY emotional and just broke down in tears and cried for no reason, would become even more easily upset, I slept A LOT, and many other things. I spent the whole week feeling absolutly MISERABLE. And what made it even worse was that Tuesday (the 14th) was a day I've been waiting literally 5 years for; the release of BSB's new CD "Never Gone". And I wasnt able to enjoy it at all, I spent most of the day in bed and almost cried b/c of not being able to get the cd that day. I was really dissapointed to say the least. But, Liz and I went to get it on Wed. and I still wasnt able to fully enjoy the CD I'd been waiting so long for. I dont think I ever really got to enjoy the CD until Friday when I decided I was tired of feeling like...well... C-R-A-P and took my anti-depressant. However, I didn't get much sleep cause I had a terrible sinus headache. After tossing and turning for a while, I finally got to sleep after taking a shower and other meathods to try and help. Saturday was worse, I again spent most of the day in bed and went to sleep that night (with the same headache) at 9:30 and slept till 11:00 the next morning. Sunday night wasnt much better, I was able to get rid of the headache (FINALLY) but had a difficult time sleeping.

As for today, it hasn't been much better. I broke down in tears again a couple times for no reason other than being tired of feeling miserable. I've eaten, but still had my stomach bother me a little. I am definitly not myself at all and haven't been for a while now. My mom came into my room Saturday afternoon, after waking me up from a nap to try and get rid of the stupid headache, and said "I want my Bethany back. What happened to her. Why is she so miserable?" And I thought to myself, "I wish I knew. I really wish I knew."

So, the conclusion to all this is that as I stated earlier, it was a mistake to take me off the anti-depressant in the first place. So, I plan to start taking it tomorrow like normal. The crying and the high emotional level is the pattern we've noticed whenever I've run out of my anti-depressant before. Whew! That was long! I hope its not too confusing for anyone. If so, I'm sorry! I think thats about all I can type for right now, Im still all emotional and stuff so thinking about all this doesnt help.

Oh, I did call my doc. today to ask what she thinks about all this but havent heard back yet. I will post an update after I've talked with her. (Hopefully tomorrow.)

Man, Life is funny isnt it? One minute you may be the happiest you've ever been and the next feeling so sad u can stand it. I've certainly felt my share of emotions in my life and maybe even a little extra just incase. Anyways, as I sit here thinking about how incredibly hot Oliver James is and playing with my newly brushed hair, I start to think and just let my mind wander. I remember something Jesse told me that stuck with me for a number of reasons and almost made me want to scream out at the top of my lungs "WHY ME!?!" He told me that he'd had a couple of friends, all of which I havent met, think I was "hot" and or wanted to ask me out. Now, clearly nothing happened and it makes me wonder; how is it that these people can see my picture or hear Jesse talk about me and feel that way, but yet every single guy I've liked has well...done the opposite. And that tells me that the problem isnt just with the guys, its with me. Well, DUH! I tell myself, I always knew something was wrong with me, but maybe I didnt know what. Maybe I just like the wrong kind of guy. But if all the guys I've like(d) are the wrong kind, what's the right kind? And how do I know when I've found him? Who knows. All I know is, that if he's out there I certainly havent found him yet.

Ok, Im a little ticked off at the moment, I sent this email to some of my clay lists abt the insane prices of tickets to see him on ebay, and people are bitting my head off! They're like "there's nothing we can do about it," "some people have to spend that much to see Clay," and my personal favorite "dont worry about it." Its like HELLLLO!! What did I do? I didnt send out this email for you to yell at me! Geez!! Ok, rant over.

Anyways, Liz and I went to see Star Wars Episode 3 yesterday. It was really good, but sad. I mean even though you know basically what's gonna happen (if you've seen the original 3 movies that is), its still sad to see it. It was a little gross at times and funny too. I'd def recommend seeing it. The special effects are really good too.

We also did a little shopping and driving around looking at really huge and very very very expensive houses. Which is always fun, but depressing at the same time cause you know you'll never be able to afford even 1/4th of the price of the house. We found some really pretty houses too, one of which we've claimed so HANDS OFF!! lol

I think thats all I can handle at the moment lol. More later.

Updates and stuff

WOW! Im like back! lol Ok, that was lame, sorry. ANYWAYS, I've got somethings that I wanna add before I completely forget to tell y'all abt them.

First off, Kim and Justin are all moved into their house down in Mississppi :( I'll really miss Kim, but I know she'll be back for holidays and stuff. Im so happy for her and Justin, they just seem so happy. Ive never seen Kim with so much sparkle in her eyes and she's got this smile that almost never leaves her face. I just hope I get lucky and find a guy that makes me that happy. Its weird that her room is like empty now and so bare. I definitly think that planning this wedding with Kim brought us closer and made us appreciate each other more. I did SOOO much to help out with the wedding that I know it meant a lot to Kim to have me here at home to help out. I just hope she knows how much I care about her and how happy I am. Ok, im gonna stop before I start crying.

Moving on, Liz and I are gonna take a "class" together. Now, Im gonna explain this the best way I can cause its really complicated and confusing. I still dont completely understand all of it yet lol. But anyways, here goes:
The class is a DBT class. DBT stands for Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. Basically, a bunch of big words that mean that the class is set up to help you improve the way you think, react, and deal with things. Its something that my mom swears is what she feels is the best thing she can "give" me to help me. Is supposed to make dealing with happy/sad/bad..etc things easier and less stressing. Lastly, Im making a scrapbook for Kim with wedding pictures and more that's certainly taken me a long time to do, and im not even close to being done lol. Its gonna be really awesome when its done *crosses fingers*. Ive got TONS and TONS of wedding pics to show y'all too, im workin on adding them to an online photo albulm, then ill send the link out. Wedding and stuff

Hey all! Well its been a while hasnt it! Ive certainly been busy havent I? lol Well, I thought Id update y'all with the wedding happenings and some pictures. It was a wonderful ceremony and wedding. I had lots of fun. This is really long, so here goes:

Saturday morning we get up at 8 to go get our hair done. Mine took the longest so while everyone was taking thier turns mom and the other bridesmaids were making the bouquets on the floor. We were there for about 3 hours so mom brought us Mc Donalds Chicken. Then we came back to the house and got ready and left a alittle after 1 to go to the gardens and get pictures taken.

When we got there some of my family was there setting up chairs and stuff so we took lots and lots of pictures there and then got into my Dad's van to wait till the wedding started. So, as more and more ppl started to arrive we started to get excited. That is until it started raining. We were soo bummed. Kim shed a tear or two as the rain just fell on us. So, we went to plan B. We moved the wedding to the reception site at Justin's family's farm. We got lost on the way there and when we finally got there most of the guests were there.

So, we sat in the car for like 20 more minutes or more. By this time it was like 4:15 and we (the bridesmaids) and kim were really ready to get out of the van. We were going to wait for the horse drawn carriage we'd rented to come and bring kim and dad to the tent and then walk in. But they werent coming till 5:30. So we went ahead with the ceremony.

There was an arbour set up with whisteria all over it so Kim wanted to walk under that. So, we got out and the other three bridesmaids started up the hill to meet their escorts and I followed along behind them by myself. The actual ceremony was really nice. I cried thru most of it. It was going well until we realized that we didnt have the roses for the rose ceremony part of the wedding and had to use fake ones. And Justin's dog Duke was the ring bearer. After it was over, we walked back out of the tent and over towards the arbor for more pictures.

I cought the bouquet (go me!) and my 7 year old cousin Cameron caught the garter. It was sooo cute!
And the weird thing is that it started raining at 2:30 and stopped at like 3:15 and never rained again the rest of the day. So it was almost like she was meant to get married at the farm.

Weather

WOW! It is sooo nice outside today! I love spring for this reason. Its hot, but not TOO hot, and all the flowers are in bloom! Raleigh is so pretty during the spring. :) Anyways, I FINALLY finished my paper!! WHOOO HOO!!!!!!! :) I'm soooooooooooooo glad its over with! Now, one more to go... *rolls eyes* lol This one should me much easier than the one I just did. That paper was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO hard!

Anyways, the wedding is less than 3 weeks away! Wow! I cant believe that, I remember when I found out about them getting engaged! Ive been helping a lot with stuff and I know Kim really appreciates that, and I dont mind helping out my big sister :) I've also been thinking a lot about the speech I'm gonna make at the reception, and ive got some ideas on what I wanna say but im def still workin on it. I'll put a link to it up here when I'm done.

Lets see... what else...? OH OH OH OH!!!!!!!!!! I can NOT believe I forgot to add this! I'M GOING TO SEE BSB THIS WEEKEND!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *Squeels in utter delight* I can not wait!! They're doing a small tour to say thanks to the fans for sticking with them thru the hiatus. I am sooooooo excited!!! I may go alone, but Im not sure.* I am SOOO excited! HE HE HE HE! :) Most of you reading this, know how much BSB mean to me and how much I love them. So, you know that I wouldnt miss this concert for the world! Im hoping that I can get my camera in to take pics. Ill see. Anyways, I think thats it for now, more updates later.

News and stuff

Hey all, I meant to post this much sooner but I never got around to it, so I'm doing it now :) This happened on March 20 (Palm Sunday) the morning after I wrote my last entry abt love etc. This is part of an email I sent out to some people.

Well, last night I was really really down and sad because of many things. Lets just say i was really depressed. So, i go to bed all sad and stuff. Then, this morning I wake up to go to the bathroom and I look up and cant believe what I'm seeing; a beautiful rainbow. It was over my bed and was the brightest rainbow I've ever seen. It was fairly large too, id say maybe 3 feet from one end to the other at the bottom, and clear as day. I was so surprised. I think it was a message from God telling me that everything is going to be ok, and that I'll be happy again. I was also shocked when I looked at my lovely clay calendar and saw that it was Palm Sunday, also that the rainbow could have been made by a Christmas candle (one with a light bulb) sitting on my window sill. But I couldnt believe that the rainbow was there. I'm not sure how long it lasted cause I went back to sleep and when I woke back up it was gone.

How cool/weird/awesome is that? I was really surprised to see it there, but it was very comforting to me. I tired to take a picture of it, but it didnt come out :(

Other news is that this wedding is getting closer and closer and we still have lots to do. The invitiations were sent out and we've gotten lots of responce card back alredy. Kim and I spent like 1.5 -1 hr 45 min scanning stuff at Hechts for her registry. It was kinda fun. She and I also need to go dress shopping for the rehersal dinner. Mom and I sat down and sorta planned out the Bridesmaids lunchen and we now have 16 people invited lol. We want to have it outside on the deck so its gonna be interesting.

I've also started to really like some songs that my friend Louise sent me. One is by an artist you know but you havent heard the song. Its called "So Strong" by Soul Decision. Yeah, I know what ur thinking, I didnt know they were still a band!? Well, they are, in Canada. Its a long story but the label they were on here in the US went bankrupt so they are only big in CA now. Its a really good song. You should DL it! And the funny thing is that I didnt like them when they were popular here. The other is a song by the Canidian Idol, Kalan Porter called "Awake In A Dream" its a really good song. And you'd never guess that he's only 19 when u hear the song. Anyways, thats my little plug for the day :)

Oh! And some good news, dad called Emory and they said I could apply to take another semester off. I have to like submit a letter asking if its ok or somethin. So hopefully *crosses fingers* they will let me do that. It would make my life LOTS easier. I cant think of anything esle to add at the moment, so if I think of somethin else I'll add it later. :)

Hey all, I know I havent updated in about a million years but I'm updating now! First off, how do ya like the new layout!?! I LOVE it! Thanks to Liz for helpin me out! :) Secondly nothin much is new, I've got like 2 weeks left in the semester and its gonna be a LOOOOOOOOOONG 2 weeks. This is gonna be a really busy weekend for me. But after that its over!! I can't wait till Christmas!! :) I've got a loooong list of stuff I want (mostly movies). Roomate Woes

WOW! It's amazing how much can go on in a matter of weeks isnt it? Or even days. I guess the idea that all good things must come to an end is definitly true (well DUH Beth!) But my point is that all bad things have to come to an end too. Kat and I arent getting along...AT ALL. She doesnt like me and wants to get out of this room so bad. I know we're different but I didnt know she disliked me as much as she does. See, what happend was I went to the bathroom and noticed someone wrote "GO BUSH 04" on MY white board (the one both of us use). So, thinking that someone on the hall did it, I erased it of course. Then i notice Kat write "Vote Bush O4 -Kat loves Bush" on it, so i write "Beth says vote for Kerry" under it. Then she erases what i wrote and put up an away message that says "GO BUSH!! MY ROOMATE SUCKS!!!!!" Im really pissed she did that. But I know that one of us has to leave before we drive each other even more crazy!

Stress and stuff

Well, this week has been interesting. Im not sure whats going on, but im starting to get a little scared. Wednesday during my english class Professor Hamilton told me to come by his office (which is right across the hall from where i have english) and talk to him. So, after class i went by and he said he was worried about me. He said that my demenor had changed and that I looked really sad. I told him that I was sick with the UTI and this stupid cold and that when i was sick it really wore me out. I told him I was doing my best to keep up in my classes, but that it was hard when i felt so bad. He said he understands totally but doesnt want me to slip like i did last semester. I had to go cause i had to take a history test and was supposed to see Jill (the therapist/counselor) here (but it turned out she had to cancel), and I had to go. So, then that night Jill calls me at 9:30 and sets up an appointment with me at 3 the next day. So, after my GNST class let out 30 min early, I went to go talk to Prof Hamilton more about what was bothering me. I told him about the horrible stomach virus i had last year and that i felt really worn out and felt like i had no energy. I told him how i came to find out that i had the UTI and he said that he was going to ask me if Id lost weight. So we talked a little more and then i had to go see Jill. We talked a little and said that Prof Hamilton had called her (he told me this before) cause he was concerned. So, she thinks i may be depressed and thinks i should up the dose on my anti-depressant. Also, she, Prof Hamilton and I are going to work together to try and work this out. I really hope it works.

In other news, Liz's grandmom is sick, so please pray for her. Thanks. Love ya Liz!

I Hate Colds!!!

Hi people, I know I dont update this as much as I used to, but College and other things have kept me busy. At the moment im sick with a cold and a urnary tract infection. It sucks! I feel absolutly miserable and all I wanna do is lie in bed and sleep. Im still a little upset abt this whole Trevor thing, but I know I have to get over it eventually, but I think I'll always have some hurt inside of me. *sigh* Life is so complicated! In other news, Kim's dad died on Friday and she's really upset about it (my friend from PA). I've done my best to help her out and be there for her as much as I can. She's doing better but is still upset. I've taken up a project to send her flowers and other Clay fans have pitched in to help out. Its amazing how Clay fans come together when people are in need. Kim is now the sole supporter of her and her mom because her mom cant work. So, she's under a lot of pressure right now. I think the flowers will cheer her up. She knows I'm here for her if she needs me. And L'ers is a bit down at the moment too so *HUG* to her. Well, thats it for now, Im too tired to do much more. I'll try my best to update more, but school comes first. Later peoples.

OK, I was at what looked like an amusment park and there were a bunch of people from RCHS there. I was walking along and i came across a group of people sitting on a wall that was like 4 feet tall or something. And Nick R was sitting on it. So i waved to him and he smiles at me and jumps down and gives me a big hug. And while we're hugging i get this weird sensation of comfort and belonging come over me and i start crying. Nick askes me whats wrong and Im like "I still love you." then he's silent for a few minutes and turns to look me in the eyes, wipes away a tear then kisses me. Very lightly then pulls back and smiles. So then he takes my hand and we walk along the park and just talk.

I also found this, its an email from David who most of you know i am no longer friends with (long story) but i thought this was sweet.

OK, lets see...onto other things...this week has been insane! This whole month has been insane! From monday to friday! Yesterday was bad...really bad. I feel really bad for the person that started it. But what happend was stupid/silly/sad/and all around bad. Someone on RHT decided to post a picture of clay. Now i wont put the picture up cause if you havent seen it you dont need to. Now, this picture was bad but could be taken many different ways. So, i was kinda scared to send it out to the 4 lists i generally post to. But i did. I sent it and one person who i wont name, sent me this as a reply:

"Im sorry this needs to be removed out of respect of Clay and His family!!! This is not right at all!!! This should have never been posted!!!!"

She made me feel so low, horrible, terrible, awful, the list goes on... so i started to cry. I was really upset. So it went from there, some people were pissed, some thought it was funny, and others didnt really care. So, after i had my cry i still felt really bad about sending it which only made it worse when Kim decided she was no longer a clay fan. She felt decieved and lied to. She's NOT happy right now. I and a few others have tried to reason with her but she's not backing down. I'm not sure what will happen as a result of this but i really hope it blows over soon. I need a break!!

WOW! What a night!! Mom, Kim, dad and I all started "talking" about suff like mom wanting for us to do 8 hours, yes 8 hours of "productive" work each day. Kim and I said we didnt hink it was fair and it went from there. We talked about how mom doesnt listen and all and how i was reeeeeeeeeally stressed from school and all and everything. The night ended with me in tears and Kim who had cried earlier. It was bad. Oh well. I swear mom is so pissy lately! I dont know what it is!! She's really getting on my nerves!! Anyways, in good/great/wonderful news: Liz and I are going to Trevor's graduation!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!! *jumps up and down* I'm sooooooooooo excited!!! I CAN NOT wait to see him again!!! He he he. And I havent seen Liz in FOREVER and i cant wait to see her too! :) I missed my Liz! :) I wuv u liz!! :) Well, i think thats it for now, LJ is being &*!@#%$ right now lol.

Well, i went to the doctors friday. It wasnt much help at all. The doctor didnt do much at all and then sent me down for xrays. Those came back fine, so we're now thinking i pulled a muscle or somethin. We're not sure. Ya know im tired of going to the hospital. First there was my stomach last year, now this. *sigh* Well, we'll see what happens and ill let cha know.
